  • 2001 Major Brands enters the burgeoning Indian market place with the franchise of the fashionable brand, opening its first store in Crossroads, Mumbai.
  • 2002 Launches Nine West with its first store in Crossroads, Mumbai
  • 2003 Signs the pan India agreement with ALDO, the largest Canadian footwear retailer and opens its first store at High Street Phoenix, Mumbai.
  • Ties up with Charles & Keith, to open retail stores across India. The first Charles & Keith store opens at In-orbit Mall, Mumbai.
  • 2005 Signs an agreement with La Senza, prestigious lingerie brand from Canada and opens its first store at Linking Road, Mumbai.
  • Signs French Fast Fashion Brand, PROMOD, for India and launches its first store at Atria Mall, Mumbai, India.
  • 2007:  Signs 2 new international brands – INGLOT for colour cosmetics and ALDO ACCESSORIES for women’s accessories and jewellery.
  • 2013: Launches Beverly Hills Polo Club brand in India.
  • 2013: PROMOD signs Joint Venture with Major Brands India Pvt. Ltd.
  • 2014: Launches Call It Spring.
  • 2016: Inglot & Major Brands achieves a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for “Most people painting their fingernails simultaneously”.
  • 2018: Launch of Bath & Body Works in India
